Upon graduation, you will embark on a rewarding career and work towards becoming a Warrant Officer or Military Expert. As a Warrant Officer, you may choose either a Combat, Combat Support or Combat Service Support vocation. As a Military Expert, you will embark on a path of deep specialisation in fields such as engineering, intelligence and medicine. With a rewarding career up to age 60, you can expect many opportunities in operational roles alongside your Officer and Warrant Officer counterparts.
About the Scheme
What will I get?
- Sponsored study in Polytechnic, covering all tuition and compulsory fees*
- Monthly allowance ranging from $1,000 to $1,300*
- Bonus of $1,200 if all courses in each semester are passed at the first attempt* *Applicants within the first 12 months of their studies are eligible for 100% sponsorship

Local Dentistry Scholarship (LDS) offers sponsorship for studies in Dentistry at the National University of Singapore (NUS). SAF Medicine Scholarship offers sponsorship for studies in Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS) or Nanyang Technological University (NTU)

Mid-Term Academic Sponsorships
If you are currently studying at a recognised university, you can apply for the Mid-Term Academic Sponsorships. Once your application is successful, you will receive a lump sum payment of the sponsorship's benefits for the period prior to the point of take-up & full sponsorship from the point of take-up.

Continuous Learning and Academic Sponsorship Scheme (CLASS)
The CLASS Framework (CLASS Degree Framework, CLASS Sponsorship and CLASS Subsidy) offers you full sponsorship of your full-time or part-time studies at local universities, polytechnics or ITE colleges with the provision of allowance or salary. You can apply for the sponsorship as early as the end of your 2nd year in service. Apart from allowing you to balance family commitment and studies, it also guarantees you a stable, rewarding and challenging career upon your graduation.
Part-Time Degree Sponsorship Scheme (PTSS) - For Non-Graduate Officers and Military Experts
Offering you a full sponsorship of your part-time degree studies at one of the preferred local universities, this sponsorship allows you to balance work and studies at the same time. It also guarantees you a stable, rewarding and challenging career upon completion of your part-time studies.

- Paid unrecorded leave to prepare and sit for exams

- In-service Commissioned Officer under Enhanced Officers Scheme

SAF Postgraduate Award (SPA) - For Graduate Officers
The SAF Postgraduate Award provides you with further opportunities to upgrade your academic competency in local or renowned overseas universities. You can choose to specialise in related fields (e.g. human resource, logistics management, defence system and instructional design) or pursue a general Master's degree. This is Our Army's commitment to uplift your skill sets and hone your intellectual abilities as you progress to undertake senior positions in the organisation.

Continuing Education Master’s Degree (CE Masters)
The Continuing Education Master’s Degree sponsorship lets you pursue postgraduate studies in Nanyang Technological University, in International Relations, Business Administration, Logistics, Technology Management, Mass Communication or Instructional Design. This invaluable opportunity to advance yourself academically is open to you once you complete your GKS Command and Staff College course, and readies you for further leadership roles and advancement in Our Army.
