The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Transport, which spearheads land transport developments in Singapore. Principal Executive, Records Management (1 year Temporary Contract)

You will be supporting the procurement of a Records Centre and budget management of a Division.

Your primary role is to support the Records Centre’s procurement to ensure that all required items are procured timely and in compliance with policy, and give advice on procurement requirements when required. You would be required to work with the centralised Tender and Procurement officers to procure the items through various procurement approaches such as ‘Invitation to Quotes’ (ITQs) and Tenders. You would also have to manage contracts and invoice payments to ensure timely and accurate payments, and ensure items procured are properly tagged and updated into the system. Your secondary role is to support the budgetary needs of the Division. This role would require you to work with the colleagues in the Division to ensure timely and accurate budget submissions with justifications during budgetary exercises. You are counted to be a team player and may be assigned other ad-hoc duties.

Job Requirements: 

  • At least a Diploma or A Level equivalent qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in government procurement practices and processes
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good organization and numeracy skills
  • Good proficiency with MS Excel/Word and other common IT tools and products
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight timelines
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
