For the benefit of citizens and employers, the Agency Services Group implements and administers schemes, such as GST Voucher, Workfare Income Supplement, on behalf of various Government agencies. The work is diverse and dynamic, giving officers the opportunity to collaborate with various government agencies and stakeholders to enhance the lives of Singaporeans from all walks of life. Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a driven and highly motivated individual to be part of our dynamic team that drives the planning, review and administration of the Workfare Schemes. Key focus areas include:

  • Lead and manage a team to administer and oversee the operations of the Workfare Schemes
  • Work with IT support/vendor to develop/enhance systems to implement policy changes and work improvement projects
  • Support Workfare-related policy reviews led by Ministries to ensure the schemes continue to benefit lower wage Singaporeans
  • Reengineer business processes and adopt emerging technologies to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Manage escalated queries related to the schemes from members of the public
  • Analyse data to identify policy and operational improvements

  • Critical thinking/analytical skill and resourcefulness in seeking solutions
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Self-driven and possesses initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Familiarity with data and digital tools (e.g. SAS, Tableau, Python, UIPath, Blue Prism) will be advantageous
